Dmitry Patrushev opened the exhibition «Russian field day - 2019»

 

The opening of the largest agricultural exhibition in Russia «Russian field day-2019» took place in the Leningrad region. The ceremony was attended by the Minister of agriculture of the Russian Federation Dmitry Patrushev and The Governor of the Leningrad region Alexander Drozdenko. This year, more than eight thousand farmers take part in the «Russian field day», which is held on the basis of the St. Petersburg state agrarian University. More than 200 agricultural organizations from all over Russia demonstrate their products, achievements and developments. Sections of the exhibition cover a variety of industries and areas of domestic agriculture: «Crop Production. Plant protection products. Agrochemistry», «Agricultural machinery and equipment for agriculture. Equipment for animal husbandry», « Scientific support. Management. Consulting. MEDIA». «Russian field day» presents advanced cultivation technologies, the latest means of production, agricultural machinery and modern varieties of agricultural crops. At the same time, some of them are shown to guests and participants in natural conditions, on specially prepared fields, which is a unique distinctive feature of the event. Thus, out of more than 800 pieces of equipment and equipment presented in the exhibition, more than 70 of them can be seen at special displays. Among other things, the exhibition presents a new-generation tractor "Kirovets K-7", production of which began at the St. Petersburg tractor plant in June this year. 6 hectares have been allocated for various agricultural crops, on which more than 500 experimental plots have been laid. On another three hectares, you can see the results of experiments with pesticides and mineral nutrition on the example of spring barley crops. The Central event of the business program of the exhibition is the plenary session "Results of sowing and harvesting in the Russian Federation in 2019". Within its framework, the leadership of the Ministry of agriculture, market participants and industry experts will discuss plans for this year's harvest and identify priority areas for the development of the Russian agricultural sector in the near future.
