«Russian field day – 2019»

From 10 to 12 July 2019, the Leningrad region will become the main center of attraction for the country's agricultural industry. The agricultural exhibition "Russian field day"will be held here.

The geography of this important event, which combines the demonstration of the achievements of domestic agriculture and professional scientific and business forum, was not determined by chance. In 2018, the share of the Leningrad region in the production of gross agricultural products of the North-Western Federal district was 37%. At the end of last year, the region is the leader in egg production (3157.7 million units) and dairy productivity of cows in agricultural organizations (8590 kg). Farmers of the region also reached the figure of 313.8 thousand tons for the production of poultry meat, which provided them with the fifth place in Russia. In addition, Leningrad agricultural organizations completed the sixth indicator in the country in milk production (587.3 thousand tons) in 2018. Such results were largely possible thanks to the state program "Development of agriculture in the Leningrad region". For its implementation in 2018, 6.2 billion rubles were allocated, and 4.7 billion-directly from the regional budget. This year, the program will be financed by about 6.3 billion rubles: the regional government plans to spend on it, in particular, 5.1 billion rubles.  PhosAgro Group is the General partner of the exhibition. The exhibition "Russian field day", organized by the Ministry of agriculture of the Russian Federation, will be held this year from 10 to 12 July in the Leningrad region. "Russian field day" is a unique exhibition project that represents the most important achievements of the domestic agricultural sector, as well as a professional scientific and business forum. The main difference of this bright agricultural event is that advanced technologies of cultivation, the latest means of production, agricultural machinery and modern varieties of agricultural crops are demonstrated here in natural conditions, on specially prepared fields. Each year, one of the regions of the country is selected for the exhibition. This year, the key site of the Russian field day will be the production site of the St. Petersburg state agrarian University. A wide exposition will be presented by key sections: "Agricultural machinery and equipment for agriculture", "crop Production", "Agrochemistry", "plant protection Products", etc. the Demonstration part of the exhibition will include a presentation of crops on experimental plots and display of agricultural machinery. The business program will also affect all the main areas of development of the agro-industrial complex.
